All maintained school governing bodies and academy trusts have a legal duty to provide all of the governance information requested on this page in so far as it is available to them.

This will increase the transparency of governance arrangements. It will enable schools and the department to identify more quickly and accurately individuals who are involved in governance, and who govern in more than one context.

Delegated authority of local governing body

Each academy has a local Governing Committee with sub committee and the full scheme of delegation is publish on the LET Website and is annually republished in July for the next academic year. The key responsibility of the LGB is to ensure very good pupil progress and educational standards, combined with an over view of finances, health and safety and all locally delegated policies. There are no shared LGBs.
