All maintained school governing bodies and academy trusts have a legal duty to provide all of the governance information requested on this page in so far as it is available to them.

This will increase the transparency of governance arrangements. It will enable schools and the department to identify more quickly and accurately individuals who are involved in governance, and who govern in more than one context.

Delegated authority of local governing body

The Members and Trustees have overall strategic management of the Multi Academy Trust. The Trustees delegate specific functions to the Local Governing Boards through a the Scheme of Delegation. This details the distinct roles and responsibilities of members, Trust Board, Committees of the Trust Board and Local Governing Bodies. The Trustees however hold ultimate responsibility for the running of the schools within the Multi Academy Trust
